Dreams … a step into the Psychic Realm?

Posted on 26 August 2005 by Liza Mae V.

Lately I have been having very distinct dreams and I have remembered alot of the details and should of written them down but I think about it the whole day and try to decipher what it means.  My dreams are very inquisitive about the things that bother me.  For example, today I dreamt about my marks that I got in summer school and prior to that I wished that I just passed my classes.  So I dreamt my mark and I just checked 2 minutes ago and that is what I actually got, well close enough, I dreamt a + insted of a -.  Anyways, I think my dreams predict my life but sometimes they are wrong and just reiterate my worries.  I guess we all have a psychic in us but it only comes out in our dreams.  It is very scarry.  I do believe in psychics and horoscopes because it just makes sense, sometimes.  The catholic church states that we shouldn’t go to psychics because they are nearing us to the devil.  They say that psychics tell you half-truths to deceive us into the full-truth.  I’ve been to 3 psychics and some things became true and other things didn’t.  They were precise in the things that were not too far in the future but the far-fetched things always seem to change like, how many kids I have, etc.   So I agree with the catholic church in that they tell you half-truths, but does that really lead me to the devil?  Blar.  I hope not.

Hrmmm … let me check my horoscope in the Toronto Star and what it has in store for me.

GEMINI – Coming soon is a moment of liberation that you have long aspired to achieve.  You don’t need very much encouragement to get motivated.  Resolve to rise above all the madness that surrounds you, then nothing will ever get you down.

The problem with daily horoscopes are that they are very cryptic but obviously they have to keep it that way so that it relates to various people.  I liked this one today because it feels true.  Yes, call me naive into being suckered into this whole horoscope thing but I believe it.

I am scared as hell to go to a psychic… I’m afraid that they will tell me something awful and I will be fearful. lmao. I don’t believe in horoscopes, but it’s funny how most people that I know match their astrological sign profiles extremely closely (I guess I believe in the latter).

Speaking of dreams, I used to have foretelling dreams often as a child, much less often as the years passed. I would dream about an insignificant event, but the dream would be very detailed and realistic (you know how in regular dreams, you find yourself in a scene but some things about the place or people are not true to life). Several weeks later, what occured during the dream would unfold before my eyes down to the most miniscule detail. (Not always of my own actions, for example I would dream about a black lab running into the middle of the street and almost getting hit by a white car.) This weirdness lead to me pondering about the whole fate vs. free will issue, but I don’t care to get into that. Blah blah I’ll get to the point, when I was a kid I had a LOT of troubling dreams besides the foretelling ones (those were just odd. So they kind of interest me.

Coming soon is a moment of liberation that you have long aspired to achieve. Sounds like you have much to look forward to

It’s weird, for me I’m not all that into the zodiac, but things here and there with my horiscope, my sign and who I’m compatible with send my mind racing. The compatibility one always gets me cause it’s completly true with Michael and I..even in the chinese zodiac. . . Your reading is sounding pretty intriguing today..I wonder when this moment of liberation is gonna happen?..

Dreams are another thing, mine are pretty bizzare. I get deja-vu’s a lot (those are the dream-related ones right?)..

One day I’ll tell you Michael’s crazy physic powers. Sometimes it scares me..

That’s another fault of a psychic, they will not tell you if there is something really bad that will happen. Blahhh.. Well I do the tarot cards, and it also depends on how well the person can interpret the cards … that takes skill. They are not the one who predicts your future but the cards tell all.

Crazy Psychic powers huh? lol. Wow. I think everyone has this, but the strength varies with different people.

Deja-vu is like you are in a particular situation, and you felt like you dreamt it exactly. You are there thinking … “This is way to familiar.. like I’ve been here before”

Regarding liberation … you’ll know with a following entry.

I don’t have a live journal but my friend does so I read through people’s journals and found many are interesting. I found this topic to be. I have been to a psychic. She was pretty darn accurate and had such positive energy, said nothing negative nor frightening. At most I was given construtive criticism and was told that I’m an ‘old soul’. I didn’t expect to have a baby at 20 but she told me I was pregnant at the time of my reading. I didn’t believe it but I missed my period and had a beautiful daughter 39 weeks later. My dreams too have precisely forecasted events that took place later on down in life. Pay attention to your dreams but don’t put so much weight on them when stressed, angry, or simply fall asleep with the television on (there are other factors too that one must consider). At any rate, I don’t believe that anyone can lead us to the devil because we all have our own free will. We are all responsible for ourselves and accountable for our own actions. The Catholic Church is what I grew up in and left a few years ago when my kid was 2. I was tormented by those nuns at school when I was really a shy child who never did anything to bring negative attention upon myself. When you take away what’s normal (sexual relations) and what God intended for a man and woman to do, you can possibly create monsters. By that I mean the many priests who have molested children throughout the years. Again, you can’t blame the church for their actions because they had a free will and exercised poor and selfish judgement. I enjoy your journal. Have a blessed day:D
