I’ve been working with Adobe Photoshop for over 10 years and it is an amazing tool for Photographers and Designers. I love it, cherish it, and would marry it if I could. Now another program has caught my interest because I am starting to see more photographers switch to Adobe Lightroom. I am really curious of its capabilities compared to PS. I have been putting it off for a couple of months for I am afraid of the long learning curve involved with learning something new. Finally putting my fears aside I have decided to tackle this one step at a time.
Q&A: What is Lightroom? How does it contrast and compare to PS? Is it worth my time to learn?
a) Lightroom Vs. Photoshop – This article compares and contrasts PS and LR by target audience, workflow, image editing, integration, and price.
b) 20 Advantages of Lightroom – Summarizes the usefulness of LR.
MY NOTES: Lightroom is used to streamline the processes involved in photography. It is a tool used to efficiently and effectively manage and edit photos. As a photographer with an Industrial Engineering background (always trying to improve processes), I can use this tool to save time and money.
This is a compilation of useful Adobe Lightroom videos I found to get started.

What is the purpose of a wedding ring? Why do we wear it on the left hand on the 4th finger, also known as the ring finger?

“In some countries, the wedding ring is worn on the left hand. This choice of finger relates to traditions purportedly dating to classical times, from an early usage reportedly referring to the fourth finger of the left hand as containing the vena amoris or “vein of love”[5]. At least in part due to this tradition, it became the norm to wear the wedding ring on this finger. By wearing rings on the fourth finger of their left hands, a married couple symbolically declares their eternal love for each other. This has now become a matter of tradition and etiquette in these countries. However, the most widely accepted explanation is that because the majority of people are right-handed, wearing the ring on the left hand makes it less likely to be damaged or lost during everyday activities.” - Wikipedia

Bride & Groom: Antonette & Duwayne
The destination wedding was held in Dorval, Florida on June 12, 2009. It was a sunny day with a stunning couple. I saturated the greens in the photo because of the background and her bouquet. This was a candid shot which usually makes the best photos because it captures the couple in their natural beauty.

It was a nice spring day when we decided to go to the beach. It was too cool to play volleyball so we decided to have a impromptu photo shoot. That is me in the reflection.
